hello i would like : somebody joan has a rather strained, but professional relationship with ( publisher, marketing representative, magazine editor, etc. ) visiting her in the hospital after an accident, strictly out of obligation, and being surprised when they actually manage to have a nice conversation with her. bonus points if this becomes a regular occurrence. extra bonus points if it features joan desperately trying to cover up the fact that nobody else has come to see her.
